FireCracker 5k & Kids run

Ever since Reilly had her first running race experience, she's been looking forward to and begging for another race. We signed up for the HFFA Firecracker 5K and Kids Run and invited little Shaun to come run with her as well. DeeDee and Poppi came down to watch the race and participate in the cheerleading for our littlest budding runner!

The kids all lined up and waited so patiently for their turn to race!

just as I called it, Shaun busted off the start line with a full sprint and then stopped about 100 yards down the road.....and then he jogged with Reilly some :)

it's so cute to watch her in her own little world, not paying attention to anyone else around her....just doing her thing!

here she came, running along, hadn't stopped ONCE, about to finish her first 1 Mile Race!

crossing the finish line in 11minutes and 3 seconds!! Pretty awesome for the youngest runner out there! She is definitely following in her Daddy's footsteps!
