just journaling.

I just have to blog some funny things that Reilly has said lately b/c I don't ever want to forget them!!

1. The other day we were looking at how beautiful the blue sky was. She told me she wanted to touch the blue sky and then proceeded to jump up and down and say, "ugh, mommy, I can't reach it!" I then attempted to explain how high the "blue sky" was and told her that it was sooooo super far away. Her response, "yeah mommy, just like DISNEY is soooo far away." Well, kinda. :)

2. She continually refers to Shawn's ipod as his "i-pie", even after we have corrected every time!

3. She now has been calling her babydoll "Braxton" even though it is clearly a girl, dressed in purple pajamas or a pink dress.

4. Her new favorite word is "actually". "Actually, mommy, I want to do......" Well, ok then.


Update on Braxton:

Well, he is following right in his sister's footsteps, quite literally. Reilly started walking on Mothers' Day, just 2 years ago, so since their birthdays are only 5 days apart, I thought that maybe Braxton was waiting for this special day to take off as well. Just this week, Braxton has started taking up to 6 or 7 steps with somewhat control. He keeps building his confidence by just "letting go" and taking a few steps towards what he wants until he crashes, aka, does a face plant. He is still NOT saying any true words, but "talks" ALL the time and now signs for 'more', 'book', 'night night', and 'all done'. He LOVES his water cup and thoroughly enjoys banging it on any surface to send water all over, simulating rain :) He also LOVES his sister. He spends most of time laughing at her, trying to get her to wrestle with him or just show her any attention. Speaking of wrestling, he LOVES it!! If at any point I lay down on the floor, he immediately comes right over and literally throws himself on top of me while laughing hysterically. He is totally into Shawn right now too and gets so excited when he comes after work. Braxton continues to be one of the most laid back, happy and content babies ever. He still only has 6 teeth, but seems to make do and eats just about anything you put in front of him, including avocado, poached fish, lima beans, all kinds of fruit, and other random things!
